Which product deserves your next hour?

Enter each product's revenue, costs and your hours. See your combined revenue, profit after AI costs, profit per hour of your time, and what each product would sell for.

Leave anything you don't know blank. Unknown is excluded, never counted as zero.

Each product's profit per hour is compared with this. Ask: what would I need to earn to give up an hour?

How it's calculated

The same engine as the weekly brief

The calculator runs the Portfolio Control Plane's decision engine (v0) on one month of your numbers. The same inputs always give the same result, and no language model is involved. Blank fields are unknown, and unknown is never treated as zero.

Profit
Revenue this month minus AI costs and other costs (hosting, tools, contractors). Unknown costs leave profit unknown.
Profit per hour
Profit divided by your hours on the product this month (hours per week × 52 ÷ 12).
Your hourly value
What an hour of your time must earn to be worth it. Every product is measured against the same number.
Upkeep share
(Upkeep hours × your hourly value + costs) ÷ revenue: how much of each dollar goes to keeping the product running.
Exit value
A range (P25–P75) from closed-deal multiples of annual owner earnings for products with $1,000–$50,000 MRR, net of the cheapest marketplace's fees, with the chance that a listing gets any offer. A range, never a price.
Suggested call
Deterministic rules, applied in order: a kill line crossed → kill or sell; no profit → build if growing, otherwise kill; declining → sell if selling now beats holding (your hours charged at your hourly value), else harvest; growing → scale if the extra hours pay, else build or maintain; flat → maintain if it clears your hourly value, otherwise sell or harvest.

Everything is calculated in this browser tab; nothing you type is sent or stored. A share link carries your numbers after the “#”, a part of the address browsers never send to a server, so only the people you give it to can see them.
